Ps._C9V3Ps._C9V3 3. When my enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at your presence.
Ps._C9V4Ps._C9V4 4. For you have maintained my right and my cause; you sat in the throne judging right.
Ps._C9V5Ps._C9V5 5. You have rebuked the nations, you have destroyed the wicked, you have put out their name forever and ever.
Ps._C9V6Ps._C9V6 6. O you enemy, destructions are come to an everlasting end: and you have destroyed cities; their memory is perished with them.
Ps._C9V7Ps._C9V7 7. But the LORD shall endure forever: he has prepared his throne for judgment.
Ps._C9V8Ps._C9V8 8. And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
Ps._C9V9Ps._C9V9 9. The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
Ps._C9V10Ps._C9V10 10. And they that know your name will put their trust in you: for you, LORD, have not forsaken them that seek you.
Ps._C9V11Ps._C9V11 11. Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
Ps._C9V12Ps._C9V12 12. When he avenges blood, he remembers them: he forgets not the cry of the humble.
Ps._C9V13Ps._C9V13 13. Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer from them that hate me, you that lift me up from the gates of death:
Ps._C9V14Ps._C9V14 14. That I may show forth all your praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in your salvation.
Ps._C9V15Ps._C9V15 15. The nations are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
Ps._C9V16Ps._C9V16 16. The LORD is known by the judgment which he executes: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
Ps._C9V17Ps._C9V17 17. The wicked shall be turned into sheol, and all the nations that forget God.
Ps._C9V18Ps._C9V18 18. For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.
Ps._C9V19Ps._C9V19 19. Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the nations be judged in your sight.
Ps._C9V20Ps._C9V20 20. Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
